Description (last modified by jeroens) (diff)
I have been looking at some of the Ecosim network analyses (plug-in) results generated using EwE6 (February 2010 version downloaded from the Ecopath site) for a student, and have come across some problems which you may well be aware?:
Network plug-in: The annual catch and also the annual TL of the catch are wrong (in the plots and also in the output csv file). It is possible that entropy and TL of the catch have been switched as entropy in the ouput file is VERY close to my own calculated TL of the catch). The reason I know these are wrong is that TL of the catch is being reported as 1.xxx as opposed to the very lowest of 2.9 up to 4.1 with most values around 3.xxx rather. Similarly, catch was never around 1 t/km2/y in the Benguela years I was looking at. (But the mean TL of the catch in the summary stats of the Ecopath ouput is correct.)

The TLC values plotted in Network Analysis are picked up from Ecosim correctly, but are decreased by 2 for no documented reason. This behaviour was copied from EwE5. I've fixed this and the values plotted are identical to those in Ecosim
The plotted TL of Catch values indeed differ from EwE5. I'm on it
