Ecosim allocates fishing mortality from fishing effort wrongly

Description

In class last week, I used this lab from Villy where you have to import some data to Ecosim to force the model (3 Effort data by gear type). Se csv file here.

All goes well, and data is imported correctly, but when you look at fishing mortality for the species that are targeted by gear type forced with effort, you can see that fishing mortality is reversed regarding fishing effort: it seems that fishing mortality of gear 1 is applied to the species targeted by gear 2, and vice versa. I guess there is an error in locating fishing mortality from fishing effort.

Let me know if you find something wrong here.

Effort / mortality seems swapped?!

The bug is sneaky but resides in the csv file. In this file the pool code for effort is wrong. In the Lab3 model, menhaden is group 3 while the fishing effort time series 'Men Effort' is targeting pool code 2 ('other prey')

Correction, these indeed seems to be a bug. See attached png

OK, figured it out. The landings in Ecopath were swapped: striped bass fleets were landing menhaden and vice-versa. This caused the apparent mix-up in fishing mortality.
