Undocking time series form shows extra, unknown shapes

When dragging the time series form out of the scientific interface, duplicates of shapes appear. Docking the time series form back into the interface hides all time series shapes.

The list view, used to show time series thumbnails, throws unexpected 'item checked' events when the time series form is undocked. Since the check state change must be triggered by mouse interactions I can circumvent this issue by only processing check changes if the list view is focused. The test is kind of hack but valid.
