Description

This would me much more useful if you could select multiple columns at a time- A huge time saver for the user.

You would do this by holding shift down. This will select a square from the selected cell to the cell clicked. From there, you can use the set set button.

Robyn, could you please document this.

Usability fixes

comment:5 Changed 17 years ago by jeroens

There are several ways to select a range of cells to modify:

  • Click the top-right cell to select an entire grid
  • Click a column or row header, and shift-click another column or row header
  • Click a cell and shift-click on another cell

The set button will enable when all editable cells in the selected range link to the same type of variable, e.g all vulnerability values, all biomass area values, etc.

The only thing to fix here would be speeding up visual feedback.

Setting a range of cells (across columns) works well. Bad performance is predominantly related to the way we have organized the application log file; I have logged this as a new issue.
