Cannot open previously converted EwE 6 models

Models such as georgia straight, and Tampa Bay, and Antarctic Peninsula (my model) I have already opened these models and converted them in previous versions of Ewe 6, and the database is saved as EwE6, but I cannot open these models.
I get a pop-up box that says the models cannot be opened.

If I re-import the model it opens correctly, and if I over-write the old version 6 database, I can close and re-open no problems.

So the current version will recognize databases that have been imported to the current version, but not ones that have been imported to previous versions

The database structure changes frequently. While EwE has not yet been released, we have not bothered to provide compatibility with older versions of the database. Once EwE is released we will support full backward compatibility.
