Import basemap from ASCII file may show wrong value scale

Description
When using the Ecospace > Edit Basemap > Import > From ASCII file to import map data (without resizing), the map shows a different colour pattern than when the depth layer content is pasted in / imported via the Layer data interface

The Depth layer is not invalidated during the import process, which means that visual representations will keep showing the old may data scale until the map content is invalidated through user map interactions.
