EwE keeps holding on to a database if upgrade is declined

Description
When opening an EwE database of an older version, an update prompt is issued. If the update is declined the model will not be opened. That is good.
However, it is now not possible to move or zip the model that was interacted with; EwE still has a lock on it. This is not good.
