Database not released properly when update fails

Description

If a database update in EwE fails it cannot be tried again; the database cannot be loaded a second time. This indicates that the failed database update is not properly released at the first attempt. This could cause memory leaks.

This leads to a few issues.

  1. Database and Data source both cached version numbers, with the connection version not being reset.
  2. Access complains that field 'SID' cannot be found, which indicates a security access token (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219062.aspx)
