The "Predict effort" checkbox on the Ecospace parameters page has no effect on the Ecospace outputs. Ecospace is setting the internal PredictEffort flag to True at the start of each run overwriting any value set by the interface. For clarity this checkbox should probably be changed to a radio button with two options:

Predict effort,
Ecopath effort.

And potential have a third option to use the Ecosim effort
