#110 | unable to duplicate | creating and saving a new model- not working properly | administrator | carieh |
Description |
Creating a model, and saving it as lab 4 seal cod july 1.mdb
Lab 4 sealcod july1 created.mdb or this name Lab 4 or this name Basically I dont think it likes any name I give it- I get this error (see word doc july 01 notes for screen images) And the database doesnt create, or at least you would think. The model doesnt open right away. But If I then go back to open model I can click on the models that failed to open when I created them, and they open, same screen as a blank model. So it really did save, but it didnt open a blank model when it saved, you have to then go from create model, to open model and open the file you just created. It used to just open the model for you when you created a new database.A little annoying :-) I cannot reproduce this error, although I know that the underlying logic does not properly handle overwriting an existing database. Let's discuss desired behaviour here. Perhaps tie it to 'Save document layout'? |

#114 | unable to duplicate | Creating / editing multistanza groups- errors | administrator | carieh |
Description |
Ok I know this is a long one but I think it is all related. This is all from the model Lab 4, and screenshots are in the document July 1 notes.doc on my ftp folder. I created a multistanza cod group and i get a lot of errors when I try to save the basic input screen- maybe this is because of multistanza groups, but the error message I get is: (I get this 8 times- see sheet- bug 116). After I ignore/continue the errors, the multistanza groups are in the wrong location. If I try to edit multi-stanza groups, I get an error message, but then it takes me to the correct window- with the recruitment curve etc. (so not a crutial error message) Please have a look at the document on my ftp folder, all the screen images are there and hopefully the warnings will help to figure out what is not working properly. |
