1		On Windows 7 and Vista machines the recent file list cannot be written. This is due to access rights in these OS versions that prohibit programs from writing to files in the 'program files' directories.
	1	On Windows 7 and Vista machines the settings file cannot be written.

	3	Symptoms of this issue are an empty recent file list and 'download new plugins' checkbox that keeps getting unchecked.

	5	The EwE6 settings file traditionally resided in the same folder as the EwE6 executable. Changes in access rights since Windows Vista prohibit programs from writing to files in program directories.
