Changing the depth layer to exclude cells from ecosystem dynamics is a pragmatic way that has been used for years to speed up Ecospace calculations However, this does not look right, and is prohibitive to building models that include land and water. A new layer is needed where users can sketch which cells are excluded from model dynamics. The cells will not be rendered in the maps Upon model update and import, this new map will set exclude values where depth values are 0. The database save logic will remain optimized, not saving any data at depth=0 |

The units for biomass/total throughput - should it not be .yr-1? (Currently there are no units given).biomass is in t.km-2 and throughput is in t.km-2yr-1, so all but the yr-1 cancel out. If yes, perhaps correcting it on the summary page of the statistics in Ecopath would be good |

I found a problem in MultiSim in the beta version. I cannot change the folder to get the files to be read. The button choose does not lead to any action. In the previous version a dialog box would come up |
