#93 | fixed | deleting values in a cell | administrator | carieh |
Description |
When I try to delete values in a cell, there is always this extra little square you have to delete. I am not sure the purpose of this? Also, when doing parameter estimation, if I delete a value from the basic input that I want the model to estimate for me, it gets set to a value of 0. I believe the cell should remain blank rather that being set to 0. when you delete a value, the value does not become 0. This is related to bug 96, if it is confusing |

#94 | open | Model balancing- biomass in habitat area reading incorrect values | administrator | carieh |
Description |
Sorry you get the long version..... So in the process of balancing a model. These are models from Villy's class that he has set up to be unbalanced, so the imported version needs to be adjusted before balancing. In this model I have made a few changes to the whale, seal, and phytoplankton groups. I have altered the biomass of seals from 0.01 to 0.02, the P/B for whales form 2 to 0.08, and deleted the phytoplankton biomass. This is where I get the problem. The altering of parameters seems to be fine (whales and seals) as in the EE estimated by the model, but the phytoplankton is where I have the problem. Also the EE for every group comes out correctly (so the model seems to be balancing correctly). Where I have the problem is when I delete the biomass for phytoplankton. When I move to the basic estimates the biomass of phytoplankton is calculated correctly at 12, in the biomass column, however the biomass in habitat area remains at 0.(it should be 12, and all other groups are correct). I am not sure if this is an actual bug, as the values for EE and biomass are being caluclated correctly or if there is a problem in the calculation. Model 2a june 15th. on ftp site related to bug 95 (the issues with the 0 value in the cell as opposed to a blank cell. |

#95 | fixed | Mortality Coefficients in Ecopath output- negative values not showing up | administrator | carieh |
Description |
in version 5 there are red values to show that these are extreme (i.e. causing your model problems), but in version 6.0.0.9, these values are correct but not obvious to the user which ones are causing your model problems. Also the other mortality rate is negative in these groups where the issues arise, yet in version 6, the other mortality rate is missing altogether for these groups (Capelin and copepods). This could be because they are negative numbers in version 5, and version 6 does not recoginize the negatives? (I am just speculating here). Please see screen for full details. Model 2b- june 15 on ftp site After the model is balanced, and the values are now positive, the appear in the screen. images of the screens and the difference are also available on my folder, so you can see the differences. Before (missing values) and after balancing (with all values). |
