Mortality coefficients->values dissappear afer one observation

Oh this is a magical one :-)
Import lab 1 (from version 5) and go to mortality coefficients, highlight the table and then paste the values into a spreadsheet, then click out of that interface (you do not have to close it, but you can) and then click back into it, and the value will disappear
The value I am speaking of is the net migration rate for other fish it should go from -0.001666667 to nothing...it disappears into thin air, just like magic :-)

Magic? Not really. By default, variables cannot be negative. If no measures are taken, negative values are cleared in the interface. An exception had to be made for this value.
