Description

The Depth works differently then in EwE5 (I think). In 5 there is a Land brush that blocks out area that is land, by setitng its depth to zero. In 6 we have a depth brush where you set the depth then paint it over the cells. To make an area land you need to set the depth to zero then paint over the area. There does not seem to be a legend attached to the Depth layer to show you what is land and what is water. I think it would be better to just have a 'Land' brush that set the depth to zero and forget about the actual depth for now. As long as the depth is greater the zero it is considered to be water.

Agreed, the term 'Depth' is highly confusing (and meaningless in the core)
